Christian Unity: Key to

 Changing the World

God has always desired unity amongst His people. Psalm 133: 1 says, "How good and pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity." Furthermore, Christ prayed and continues to pray that we, the Body of Christ, may be "one" as He and the Father are one. It is time for every Christian leader and believer to look past our man-made labels to the unity that He expects of us. If we are going to have dynamic, life-giving churches in every city that will change and transform the world around us, it will take unity amongst believers so that He can release His love, power, wisdom and anointing in all that we do.
Christ always walked in unity with the Father! He was challenged to go His own way, tempted to build up Himself, but He resisted the attacks of Satan and the flesh and remained unity with the Father. Inevitably, Jesus' staying united with the Father allowed Him to finish His ministry, release the full measure of the Holy Spirit all around Him, made disciples and set the example for all believers and leaders to come.

We can and must strive to reach the same goal which requires genuine love for one another, genuine forgiveness and a Kingdom focus above all. There is so much more that each and all of us can do where we live, work and fellowship. I urge you as Christ's ambassadors to come together in faith and love so that the world might know that we are truly His disciples, and that they might want what we already have: eternal life and eternity with Christ.
